The Marion Enterprise Center (MEC) is a certified 184 acre business park located on the east side of the city of Marion, Iowa,near north-south state highway 13 and along east-west highway 151.
MEC is jointly developed by the Marion Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO) and the City of Marion, Iowa. The building sites that are available can be flexibly split and/or combined to meet the specific requirements for your project.
The MEC is LEED sustainable and an environmentally friendly development. The park includes bike & walking trails, wetlands, deep water pond, LED lighting and native plantings to ensure the best environment for your employees. Each site within the park has sanitary sewer, water, and storm sewer in place. In addition the park has gas, electric, and fiber optics installed and ready to meet your demands.
The Marion Enterprise Center provides direct fiber connectivity to a world class data center that offers an environment for the highest speed and most demanding data users. Our publicly owned, redundant and looped data ring gives us a competitive advantage over other data rich environments.
The MEC adjoins two, 4-lane highways (151 on the north and 13 to the west) with easy access to America’s Interstate Highway system.
