Marion, IA –The City of Marion and Marion Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO) are excited to publish a streamlined Developer’s Guide to assist developers and businesses as they navigate the City's development process. Supporting a commitment to being the community where a project can move forward faster than anywhere else, the guide provides a concise resource for understanding zoning, building, permitting, and inspection processes. The guide is available online or can be downloaded as a printable document. It also includes key contacts and offers an overview of financial assistance programs.

The guide is available at www.cityofmarion.org/DevelopersGuide. It is intended to be a tool for new and existing businesses and developers looking to invest in the city.

The guide is a result of close collaboration between the City and MEDCO and is part of an ongoing effort to support economic growth and development in Marion.
