Iowa Workforce Development (IWD) and Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) recently completed a new Laborshed employment study. Throughout the summer, a survey was provided to Marion and other regional businesses while also capturing the home zip codes of full-time, part-time, and temporary employees in order to understand commuting patterns. Additionally, a household telephone survey was administered to individuals residing within the Laborshed boundaries.
