Congrats to MEDCO investor, Central Iowa Power Cooperative and its member-owners, for purchasing demand and energy from Wapello Solar through an exclusive 25-year power purchase agreement. Wapello Solar LLC is located on nearly 800 acres in Louisa County and can convert up to 127.5 megawatts of direct current into alternating current. It is owned and developed by Clenera LLC. Clenera is a company that acquires, develops, builds, and manages utility-scale solar farms and energy storage facilities throughout the United States.
