Powerline Construction Coordinator

Description:

Coordinate and execute operations, maintenance and line construction projects in support of the Cooperative’s transmission system.

  1. Assist in the development and coordination of system-wide preventative maintenance and regulatory required programs of the System Operations Department.
  2. Perform and coordinate operating and maintenance projects including road moves, switch installations, substation modifications, etc. as may be assigned system wide.
  3. Support System Operations Department staff in technical duties including right-of-way acquisition, drafting, construction inspection, staking, etc. as directed.
  4. Coordinates and expedites resources needed for emergency service restoration during major outages.

Starting salary:
$66,216 - $99,324

High school courses important to the position:
Math, computer accounting, drafting

Training, certifications, or degree needed to qualify for the position:
High School diploma or GED with a minimum 7 years of experience in the electric power industry or equivalent combination of education and experience; technical training and education is preferred.
