OBJECTIVES YOU WILL MEET
As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for conducting accurate power studies and assessments of electrical systems.

 

Objectives include:
• Gathering of electrical distribution information such as wire sizes, lengths, circuit breaker settings, transformer information, and more.
• Assisting our clients in identifying potential power system hazards
• Accurate, detailed electrical drawings that can be provided to our clients
• Generation of professional, finished report packages for our clients
• Supporting Electrical Engineers by conducting power studies

 

HOW YOU’LL MEET THOSE OBJECTIVES
• Travel to client sites throughout the United States and perform electrical power studies. As a field position, travel is expected to be > 75%, mostly weekdays.
• Safety labeling of electrical systems
• Survey of facilities to identify exposed conductors
• Examination of high voltage systems
• Creation of field sketches and/or SKM drawings of client facilities’ power systems

You have knowledge of 3 phase systems, NFPA 70E, and have an Associates degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.  Confident. Work often requires being at heights, lifting (> 25 lbs), and environments with chemicals, noise, and more. Confidence in this area is important, and we provide the PPE that will meet or exceed safety requirements so you can do work safely.
