The Development Manager supports the Market Leader in a regional office. He/she develops external relationships within real estate users, brokerage networks, third party consultants, governmental agencies and internal teams.
The Development Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing various supporting assignments on multiple projects in multiple project types, including:
• Market research • Organizing project information • Drafting documents, proformas, or spreadsheets under supervision of a more senior development staff • Organizing project meetings coordinating and collaborating with teams of architects, construction, and capital markets staff. • Facilitating project team communication • Preparing deal approval packages for the board of directors and management teams • Participating in LOI/Lease negotiations • Coordinating tenant improvement construction projects • Participating in and supporting the entitlement process • Stretch or growth responsibilities may include: drafting and creating development proposals, creating and managing simple to complex development proformas, site search, site selection, purchase agreement negotiations, providing development direction to the design and preconstruction process, managing city approvals, preparing deal pursuit approval packages, managing deal pursuit costs, negotiating LOI and Lease Agreements
Pay range varies per region. National minimum salary starts at $95K

Training, certifications, or degree needed to qualify for the position:
A bachelor's degree is required, a master?s degree in Real Estate Development or Business Administration is strongly preferred.
