Aircraft Certification Center - Support Technician
Description:
The Facility and Project Management team at the Aircraft Certification Center (ACC) at the Cedar Rapids airport are looking for a support technician to work as an assistant to our procurement, stockroom and general facility needs. This is a role with a large variety of tasks and responsibilities that will also include being a site EH&S contact for the Cedar Rapids airport facility.
Primary Responsibilities:

Managing stockroom operations and inventory.

Working as a procurement focal point for aircraft flight test and aircraft modification tasks.

Facility focal point Environmental, Health and Safety.

Scheduling and tracking of Collins test equipment calibration.

Oversight and communication of daily facility operations.

Individual job duties may vary.

Able to work autonomously with minimal oversight from manager.

Training, certifications, or degree needed to qualify for the position:
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Specific skills that your business recognizes as fundamental to employment (life skills):
Experience with Collins Aerospace shipping practices and procedures.
Experience with Collins Aerospace procurement practices and procedures.
Experience the Environmental, Health and Safety practices and procedures at Collins Aerospace is a plus.
Experience with inventory management is a plus.
Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft flight testing is a plus.
