This individual will be responsible for performing quality CNC machine work. This candidate will be responsible for jobs scheduled by the Supervisor to ensure on time delivery and a quality product. This candidate will also be accountable for job efficiency on all work performed in their machine centers. This person will decipher quality requirements from customer manufacturing drawings and maintain those requirements throughout production on each job. The best candidate will have experience and be able to step in on machine jobs as necessary. This candidate should have basic knowledge of CNC programming and be able to make program adjustments at the machine control. This individual must have excellent tape measure reading skills as well as be comfortable using other measuring devices such as digital calipers. Knowledge and/or certification in lifting and rigging is a must. This person will also be required to fill out any needed quality documentation. In addition to the quality manufacturing of the part, the proper candidate will also be aware of shop efficiencies and rates to ensure the job is profitable. The best candidate is someone who is comfortable working alone but enjoys being around others as our business has a close family like atmosphere.
