This individual will be responsible for taking a Fabrication job from start to finish. Material will be ordered per the drawing requirements however this candidate will need to decipher the various manufacturing drawings provided to us by our customers in order to cut, bend, drill, grind, layout, weld and assemble the project. This person should be able to set up a welder from scratch, read various weld symbols and call outs from a manufacturing drawing, understand how various materials are affected by the heat process and have excellent tape measure reading skills as well as be comfortable using other measuring devices such as digital calipers. Knowledge and/or certification in lifting and rigging is a must. This person will also be required to fill out any needed quality documentation. In addition to the quality manufacturing of the part, the proper candidate will also be aware of shop efficiencies and rates to ensure the job is profitable. The best candidate is someone who is comfortable working alone but enjoys being around others as our business has a close family like atmosphere.
$18-$20 per hour

AA in Advanced Manufacturing. Emphasis on measuring, print reading, lifting and rigging, welding, grinding, bending.
