Certified Nurses Aide - CNA
Description:
A CNA plays an essential role in providing quality of life for aging adults.
This role assists and serves residents with all activities of daily living, including bathing/showering, dressing, grooming, ambulation, toileting, eating, laundry, housekeeping, and getting residents to activities. A CNA encourages residents to be as independent as possible and develops positive relationships with residents and their families.
There are varying levels of care needed depending on whether you choose to work in an assisted living or nursing home setting. The CNA certification is a great stepping stone for individuals looking to receive their nursing degree.
Starting salary:
$12-$13/hr
