A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RETAIL BANKER

As a Retail Banker, you arrive each day full of energy and ready to provide unsurpassed customer service as the face of our company. You cheerfully greet current and prospective customers, taking the time to really listen to their needs. With professionalism, you help process transactions and solve problems, as well as provide information about our bank and the financial services we offer. Happy to help, you assist customers with their accounts and filling out documents. You always make a great first impression and enjoy nurturing ongoing relationships with our customers.

You accurately and efficiently process opening accounts, perform maintenance and consumer loan applications. You also have opportunities to utilize your product knowledge and cross-sell financial products and services to meet the needs of our customers. During each shift, you maintain a cash drawer with all proper safeguards, ensuring that it balances at the end of the day. You enjoy your job and take pride in providing exceptional customer service to our customers!

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RETAIL BANKER

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • "Extra mile" customer service skills

A year or more of banking or customer service experience is preferred but we can train the right person. Do you learn quickly and genuinely care about people? Would you be able to keep up to date on all banking products and services? Do you enjoy creating connections with others? Are you able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks? Do you thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment? Are you honest and discreet with confidential information?
