Think about important projects in your company, that just aren’t quite top of the list. What if a team of students could bring their unique perspective to advance your corporate priorities? We think you’ll be amazed by their energy and innovation. Projects will be done by student teams during either the Fall or Spring semester.
Here are a few ideas of what a project might look like to help get you thinking. Don't underestimate how valuable student persepctives may be to your corporate goals strategy:
- Evaluate why females ages 30-45 are staying out of the workforce and make recommendations on how a company might change their work environment to attract this demographic.
- Evaluate the navigation of a corporate website and make recommendations for improvement.
- Evaluate the flow of product across a manufacturing floor and make recommendations for efficiencies.
- Study the waste streams of a company and make recommendations for increasing recycling and reuse.
- Study the online reputation of a company and make recommendations for improvement.
- Design a website for a local non-profit.
- Develop a shipping strategy for a start-up company to determine the most cost-effective products to use.
- Research and recommend hiring and retaining Gen Y and Millennials.
- Photo shoots and video production for non-profit and local sporting teams for marketing purposes.
- Partner with a startup and make recommendations for growing their customer base or scaling their product.
The best projects are those that can be completed in about six weeks, however longer term projects will still be considered.
