MEDCO Startup Spotlight

Calling all startups!

We want to spotlight your small business.  Marion Economic Development Corporation is committed to supporting new businesses and entrepreneurs seeking to scale and gain awareness in our community and region. This starts by supporting your growth and helping you gain a new audience. 

Here’s how Startup Spotlight works. If you are a business preparing to launch or have been in business for no more than two years, we want to help tell your story. We’re looking for all business types (retail and restaurants excluded).

Startup Spotlight is a space for startups to gather and reach higher through a unique platform. Each quarter we’ll select a business that will receive the following promotional package:

• Featured host on our Candid Community Leadership Podcast with a live in person “meetup” event to share yourself and your business with our local community
• Be promoted to MEDCO’s online Meet Up Group of over 230 members.
• We’ll share your story on MEDCO’s Facebook & LinkedIn platforms and our audience of more than 2,000 local businesses and individuals.
• A dedicated landing page that will feature information about your business
• A customized story about your business will be published in a MEDCO “E-blast” to an audience of 4,000 individuals and 188 local businesses.
