The Marion Enterprise Center is zoned PD-S (Planned Development Special) with overall design of projects governed by a comprehensive set of Design Guidelines. The MEC is an integrated office industrial park that provides an affordable yet aesthetically pleasing and sustainable environment.

Design guidelines for the MEC are intended to assist in constructing and realizing the vision that has been developed through a comprehensive Master Planning Process. The documents and drawings contained in the Design Guidelines provide both general and specific standards for many of the physical elements of the park.
