As you shift your focus from 2020 challenges to 2021 opportunity, we take time to reflect, listen, and learn from each other through stories of resiliency. The Future Focused Forums series will encourage us to embrace change, re- position our focus, and lead through adversity. A portion of the proceeds collected from forum admission will go to Trees Forever to support Marion’s continued recovery from the 2020 Derecho.

Future Focused on Mental Health – February 23rd 8:30-9:30 am
The topic of Mental health is more prominent in the workplace than ever before. Whether it be our homes becoming our offices or the constant forced changing of our daily schedules, our physical health has been impacted. The food we eat and the physical activity we do has a direct effect on both our mental and physical make up. Learn how local employers have helped their employees be more active and join local experts for a few tips to balance the new workplace, nutrition, and physical fitness.

Join us for a conversation with our community leaders for an update on pandemic and derecho recovery. We will also look forward to exciting events being planned this summer in the community.

Development opportunity remains strong in 20201. Join us for a panel discussion with developers and bankers who continue to support community growth. We will provide an update on our own community pipeline and preview new projects on the horizon.

Join us for the conclusion of our series on the one year anniversary of the August 2020 Derecho. In partnership with Trees Forever, we’re working to develop a meaningful event that reflects on the past and invests in the future of our community. A portion of your registration fees will be used to support the replanting of new trees as we rebuild the community’s precious tree canopy and stay future focused.
