General Job Description: The Lab Assistant is the "face of the lab". They interact with patients and hospital personnel. They use the computer system to register the patient and order tests. They collect specimens on inpatients and outpatients, tracking the specimens in the computer and transporting them to the lab for testing. They may perform collections for DOT and other contracted service urine drug screens.
Starting salary: $10.50 - $13.50
