ELPLAST America brings 30 jobs to Marion
Marion, IA – ELPLAST America Inc. will break ground on the construction of their new North American headquarters on October 22 at 4:30 p.m. ELPLAST will be joining Legacy Manufacturing as the initial occupants in the Marion Enterprise Center on Highway 151 in Marion. The event will take place at 795 Enterprise Drive in Marion.
The Zory, Poland based plastics manufacturer will be constructing a $6 million dollar, 30,000 square foot facility bringing 30 jobs to Marion. ELPLAST currently supplies more than 400 million meters (1 billion feet) of press to close zippers annually to customers in over 60 countries on 6 continents.

MEDCO worked with ELPLAST to receive a $390,000 dollar incentive through the City of Marion and also partnered with the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance to secure $148,450 through the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
Primus Construction is the general contractor for the project.
