MEDCO exists to create an exceptional business environment for companies to compete & thrive. As part of our strategy to support that environment, we’re pleased to launch the second year of Innovate Marion, Preparing Your Business for the Future.
In 2016, we began providing a platform for Human Resource Professionals to gather together to network and share their experiences in the field.
Meeting once a month over a brownbag lunch allowed discussion on a variety of topics that regularly challenge HR professionals. This group, that is referred to as the HR Roundtable, have discussed topics such as talent recruitment, talent retention, workplace culture, opportunities to engage students, strategies to address new workplace regulations, and much more. The agendas were set by members of the group and provided a platform for companies of all sizes to learn from their peers in the community.
Attendees can expect to network and share their workforce challenges and successes with the group. Our charge is to provide this opportunity to companies of all size, from those with a robust HR department to those who juggle hiring responsibilities along with other job titles.
